Vaso Constantinou is a PhD student at the Cyprus Interaction Lab, Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology. She completed her BA in Multimedia and Graphic Arts from the Cyprus University of Technology and her MA in Interactive Multimedia at the same Department. Her MA dissertation focused on people with disabilities, developing a system for immediate access to emergency services for people with hearing disability. Her BA dissertation focused on learning technology (Clickers) in sports education and training. The results of the study were presented at the 16th Biennial Conference Earli on August 2015.
Vaso has completed the Research Methods in Human Computer Interaction course from the Tallinn University of Estonia. She has worked as a Web Developer and Designer, focusing on User experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design.
She is a teaching staff at the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology.
Her research revolves around human computer interaction, user experience, computer-supported collaborative learning, development and evaluation of common workspaces and technologies for social inclusion.
